A denial still wouldn't convince Ky, as he's certain Potemkin wouldn't have mentioned it unless something had been said. And he was far too used to how these sort of gatherings went. The words themselves didn't hurt him as much as knowing someone he cared about had to endure listening to such scandalous drivel. That sort of gossip only served to drag down others. He didn't want anyone else affected by it.

When Potemkin gently halts his arm, Ky looks up with wide eyes. His apologetic expression still remains, though it's slowly giving way to concern.
