Part of Venom did want to spend the night with the soldier. He'd been lonely, and Potemkin piqued his curiosity greatly. But he found more than he expected; Potemkin's a gentleman on the level of Lord Slayer, treating him with care and respect he's never received before. And he feels incredible. Venom really does doubt he'll ever be able to sleep with any other men after this.
